Ms. Rebecca Strauss » Home

My name is Becca Strauss. This is my seventh year as an Intervention Specialist, and my fourth year at GMS. I graduated from Goshen High School in 2012, and then Miami University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Special Education. I co-taught all subjects of sixth grade in addition to providing intervention services in my first year of teaching at Bethel-Tate Middle School. My next two years took place at Spaulding Elementary in third grade. For the last three years I have been providing intervention services and co-teaching sixth grade ELA and sixth grade math. I am excited to begin a new journey this year by providing intervention services in seventh grade.
At Goshen Middle School I co-teach seventh grade ELA with Ms. Arleigh Smith and seventh grade math with Mrs. Kelly DeNu. I also provide interventions to our seventh grade students. We all work together to make learning fun and accessible for all of our students!
When I'm not in the classroom, I also coach 7th and 8th grade football/basketball cheerleading. This is my fourth year coaching our GMS squads. In the spring I also assistant coach 7th/8th grade track.
