My name is Brooke Whitley and this is my seventh year as an Intervention Specialist. I love teaching at GMS! I graduated from Goshen High School in 2009 and then graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. In February 2020, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Reading from Grand Canyon University. I am certified to work with students who have mild to moderate disabilities from K-12.
At Goshen Middle School, I provide intervention services to students in grades 6-8. This year, I work as a self-contained Intervention Specialist with a small classroom of students. I am so grateful to be at GMS and love working with kids everyday! I am passionate about the overall well being of every child and hope to make a positive impact on each precious life I encounter.
In the spring, I coach 7th and 8th grade track and field with Coach Dietrich, Coach Ohnmeis, and Coach Pritts. I work primarily with sprinters, high jumpers, and hurdlers. We have so much fun together and value helping each student develop their athletic ability. Sports help students build character and become more well-rounded individuals in the future.
