A Tradition of Excellence
Mrs. Fine, 8th grade social studies teacher, does a fantastic job each year organizing an engaging and enjoyable month of activities that focus on loving others each February. Students and staff have raised over $2,300 for Pennies for Patients so far this month. On Friday, Feb. 22 students may pay $1 to wear a hat and/or their PJs to school which will be donated to Pennies for Patients as well. We are also collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and are celebrating a Random Acts of Kindness week. Please check out the link if you would like to make a donation online. Also check out the pics of our teachers completing dares as a result of the amount of money raised so far!
We are looking forward to celebrating all of our athlete's accomplishments this season on Thursday, February 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.
Here is a copy of last night's presentation by Mrs. Royal.
We had a great turnout for our 8th grade information night as students begin their transition to GHS! Thanks to Mrs. Walker, Ms. Meyer, Mrs. Royal, Mr. Edwards and the numerous high school teachers that were here to answer questions about their classes, clubs and activities.
