Hold on to your aprons, parents! Mrs. Mirus's class traded textbooks for spatulas this morning and turned GMS into a culinary hotspot. Your little chefs-in-training had a blast learning how to bake their own chicken nuggets! The results were delicious, and a few of them even said they're ready to open their own five-star restaurant. 🐔

O’Bannon Creek isn’t just water—it’s a piece of Goshen’s history! Did you know some of Goshen’s oldest homes were built with limestone from the creek? (The Anchorage) Today, Mrs. DeNu’s Career Tech students became geologists for the day—finding fossils and limestone just like the rock that built our town’s history! 🔍✨

GMS students in Mrs. Velagic’s class recently completed a fun STEM challenge: building a bridge out of a single piece of paper and five paper clips that could hold 100 pennies across a 7-inch gap. This team-building activity was a great way to prepare for our upcoming unit on ancient civilizations. The kids had a lot of fun trying!

Last Friday, GMS 6th grade students got to participate in a fun event! The company EVERFI, partnered with Kroger Health to provide our students education focused on health and wellness. The Kroger team set up stations to model to students what a healthy snack choice looks like. They all enjoyed the taste testing! In addition, they participated in relay races focused on well balanced meals. We would like to thank this team for coming out and providing such a unique hands on experience! Also, thank you to Mrs. Wood for organizing! #krogerhealth #everfi #healthierme
