
The GMS career tech class would like to thank Goshen alumni, Becky (Holland) Frank for being a guest speaker today. Becky spoke to the students about what it takes to become a hair stylist and business owner. Her credentials include owning the biggest salon in Milford, Reflections. Thank you for your insight and support Becky!





Students from Mrs. Vogt’s and Mr. Bohl’s social studies classes collaboratively worked reviewing for their Ancient India Assessment. Student’s competed through games on Blooket, Quizizz, Quizlet and Kahoot to prepare. Stirring up the competitive juices had them very motivated to review.





The GMS Hope Squad promoted a week of hope with various activities such as a golden ticket of kindness, handing out stickers and bracelets, and sponsoring a blooket to help promote world teen mental health day on March 2. Hope squad received a grant from BI3 who partners with tri health and the Joe Burrow foundation.




Today is a GMS facility dog, Meg, appreciation post! Students and staff absolutely love encountering Meg each day and we are pretty sure that she loves it just as much! Our district is so lucky to have 3 facility dogs at our schools!











We are very proud of our GMS students who were chosen to speak at the Goshen Business Advisory Council meeting this morning to share their Shark Tank idea, Sunrayz (solar-powered charging stations at schools). Great job Addi, Kellan, Rilyn, and Audrey.


Mrs. Shaw's STEM class took advantage of the nice weather and worked on their nucleus atom project represented by stringing bead bracelets!







GMS has been celebrating Random Acts of Kindness for the month of February. Check out students creating inspirational kindness coffee sleeves for local business, Goshen Grind. In the near future you can grab your coffee from there with a custom made word of encouragement from students in your community on your cup!






GMS 6th grade Career Tech students explored the world of Marketing & Sales. Students were challenged to design a toy using only paper and tape. They needed to convince fellow classmates that their product was the best by using an elevator pitch and demonstrating. We have some pretty creative minds in this class!








GMS 6th grade Social Studies students in Mrs. Velagic's class participated in bartering day! Kids could bring in goods or do services to barter - just as they bartered in ancient civilizations- it gave them perspective on demand of goods, knowing your audience, creating good trade relationships, and understanding that not all trades are one for one trades!

The GMS 2024 Snowball Dance was a success! Thank you to the PTO for your beautiful decorations and support! Special thank you to DJ Mike Ulrey for the awesome music! The kids looked looked wonderful tonight and had a blast!











Some of winners of the GMS library Literary Illusions challenge enjoyed free time in the Letter Lounge today as a prize!


The GMS library held our first annual pet adoption. The class who follows library procedures the best gets to adopt the pets for the following school day. Here are a few students from Mrs. Fine's class who won the honor!




Soon-to-be freshmen and their families are invited to an informational meeting about the GHS class scheduling process on Thursday, Feb. 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the GHS gym. A brief overview of the high school class scheduling process will be followed by a scheduling fair of classes, clubs and athletics.


Today was another beautiful day at GMS!









It was twin day at GMS and the students did not disappoint!








Mr. Bohl sure is a fan favorite! Look how many students chose to dress up as him for "Students dress like teacher, and teacher dress like students" day! Very clever students!






GMS students have been participating in a spirit week to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The theme includes, students dress like teachers, pajama day, and beach day. Tomorrow is twin day and Friday is hat day! We will be collecting until next Friday!
