Mrs. Mirus's classroom at GMS was blessed to be a recipient of a Goshen Education Foundation teacher grant. Our class is EXTREMELY grateful and thankful for the ongoing support and generosity of the Goshen Education Foundation. Grants are used to help make a positive difference in the lives of numerous students. We have so many kids that come into our classroom each day to utilize our sensory equipment, take a break to regain focus or learn valuable life skills. This year the grant help to purchase additional fidgets for our classroom, a set of noise cancelling headphones, a spinning sensory chair and a $250 gift card to Kroger. The gift card will be utilized to buy food and supplies to help teach kids life skills such a cooking, cleaning and how to do the laundry. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Goshen Education Foundation for your incredible support of our students, staff and community. We are forever thankful for you. It’s always a great day to be a Warrior!

GMS Career Tech students in Mrs. DeNu's class would like to thank Jen Kiblinger, President of Circle Tail Inc., for being a guest speaker today! Students participated in a service project of creating dog toys and bandanas for the service and facility dogs at Circle Tail. (Project was originally started by Judy Wilson and carried on). Circle Tail is the organization who trained and provided Goshen with all 3 of our district's facility dogs (Meg, Artis, Rolyn). The students were eager to gift the toys that they made and "Bara" our guest dog speaker, was happy to accept them! Thank you for your continued partnership Jen and Circle Tail! #circletail #facilitydog
