
All week students at GMS have been contributing to the Hoops For Heart fundraiser during Encore. A total of $750 was raised for the American Heart Association. Thank you for organizing Mrs. Wood and Mr. Gregory!









Today at GMS, Career Tech students competed in a Shark Tank competition. The 6 groups of finalists moved on to the final round and presented their product in front of their classmates. We would like to thank our panel of judges from the business advisory council for coming to help! (Chelsey Hornsby, Christy Mack, Lisa Wernke, and Kevin Malof) We are extremely proud of all of the groups!
Congratulations to Sunrayz (7th grade, Addy Stroud, Rilyn Steioff, Kellan Plavsic, Audrey Harville) and Shoe Grip (8th grade, Cayden Burns, Braxton Gorman, Ziy Arnold) for winning the competition.

Mrs. Vogt and Mrs. Kelly’s tribes earned a hat and/or pajama day for being the top tribes in the Warrior Walk! They look cozy! Nice job everyone!



6th grade students in Ms. Velagic’s, Mrs. Vogt’s and Mr. Bohl’s science classes worked cooperatively on a soil lab today. Students studied sand, silt and clay based off the five senses and then turned it into loam. Students really got their hands dirty in this lab!











Thanks to the AMAZING Goshen PTO, the students and staff in Mrs. Mirus’s classroom are enjoying items provided from the approval of a recent grant. Thank you Goshen PTO for helping make a positive difference in the lives of numerous individuals!

The 12 day countdown to winter break has begun! GMS teachers get into the holiday spirit with a new theme each day!











Outside of her responsibilities as GMS principal, Ms. Flynn makes time to visit classrooms and engage with students directly. Earlier today, she sat in on a group of students developing their Shark Tank pitch and offered guidance to support their project. Thanks Ms. Flynn!



Today, Mrs. Perfetta's class went to the library and received a warm welcome from Meg, the library mascot. It's hard to tell who was the happiest.


Mr. Tudor's life skills class had their annual Thanksgiving feast project. It incorporates so many life skills from shopping, creating a meal, decorating, and making center pieces. It helps Students with the jitters of the High School and starts that transition phase early on.











The NJHS put on their annual Thanksgiving food drive! Thanks to Miss Walker for leading the cause! This drive will serve families in the Goshen community this Thanksgiving. What a success!

GMS Career Tech students got to visit the University of Cincinnati campus to participate in their career day and watch a UC Women's Basketball game! The Bearcats took home the win! Visiting local college campuses can help spark curiosity for young minds!











GMS Career Tech students would like to thank Survey/Civil Engineer and former Dean of Engineering, Paul A. DeNu, for speaking to students today. Mr. DeNu demonstrated to students how GPS technology systems work and answered questions about the profession of Surveying. Great day!







GMS Career Tech students would like to thank State Highway Patrol Trooper, Alex Price, for coming to speak to students about his career. Students were able to ask questions and learn about his experience in the police academy.






Students in Mrs. Vogt’s and Mr. Bohl’s classes have been working on rocks and the rock cycle. Today, students completed The Rock Cycle Lab utilizing different types of chocolate chips. They were able to cycle a “rock” all the way through working collaboratively with a partner.











Students in Mrs. Adkins & Mrs. Turpin's classroom recently channeled their "To Kill a Mockingbird" main characters and put on a ham parade! The parade visited many different classrooms in the school and students voted on who had the best ham costume.











Mrs. Clark and her cooking class got to work this afternoon at GMS. They are prepping for making an Oreo Dump Cake with the new oven in Mrs. Mirus's room. They have discussed their budget, ingredients and created a grocery list. Great job, Warriors!
